The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the Colosseum. However, the noise from the thin walls was bothersome.

convenient location, allowance for luggage storage, unique old elevator
This isn’t a hotel but an apartment with poor soundproofing!!! The ongoing renovations make it feel unfinished!!! A 20 euro check-in fee after midnight feels unnecessary without a proper reception!!!

Conte Guesthouse was a solid find! Loved the charming old elevator and the super convenient location near the Colosseum. The staff were super nice when I had to reach out about the check-in. Just a heads up, no sign to find the entrance-keep an eye out for the big door!

The location near major attractions like the Colosseum made exploring easy. Clean room with a nice balcony offered plenty of natural light. The shared kitchen featured a unique honor system for drinks, which was convenient and saved a bit of money. Staff remained helpful throughout our stay, providing great tips on local spots to check out. However, check-in after midnight incurred a fee. Noise from neighboring rooms could be bothersome at times, but not enough to overshadow the positives. Limited kitchenware made cooking more difficult than expected.

Our room was nice with comfy beds and a private bathroom. The walls were a bit dirty around the shower, which was a letdown, but the shower area itself was clean. The TV was a plus, and the daily cleaning was on point. One downside was that breakfast ran out quickly, we got there a bit late on the second day and there was no bread left. Still, great value for the price!

Great Location, but Prepare for Limited Amenities
We enjoyed our three-night stay with family. The room was clean, and the location near major sights was unbeatable. However, limited kitchenware was disappointing. Keep in mind no 24-hour reception. communication with staff is crucial. Bring any extra kitchen items for a smoother stay!

Conte Guesthouse provided a fantastic experience during my work trip. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Coliseum and close to public transportation. I appreciated the spacious room with a private bath and balcony, which was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Breakfast was generous, featuring a delightful selection of ham, cheese, and pastries, ensuring I started each day well fueled.
